Tom Cooke joined Algenesis from Reef, where he was VP of Product for 7 years. He was responsible for Reef’s global product line strategy and execution including product management, design, and development. Prior to Reef, Tom spent 16 years at Vans where he held numerous roles in Product Management and Development, including as the Director of Footwear for the Core Channel, which included Syndicate, Pro Skate, Surf and OTW footwear lines. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

I'd like to see Soleic technology incorporated into the footwear and apparel industry because they both contribute to the microplastics problem, and our material is the only proven solution. Footwear and apparel brands are also great marketers and storytellers, and I believe they can help us increase awareness of our technology.
I want future generations to inherit a cleaner, safer world, in which we aren't trashing the planet with toxic materials that can harm all forms of life. We all deserve clean air, clean water, and clean soil. Soleic can help with all of these issues and it's why our brand tagline is "For A World Without Microplastics".
